We want to start highlighting some of these individuals—the professors who are doing it all at their institutions, those who juggle teaching, manage research labs, and deliver on various research contracts with industry. And to kick off our new Researcher Highlights series we’re starting with Dr. Lukas Swan of Dalhousie, a mechanical engineer with a focus on renewable energy and energy storage. [Halifax, NS, March 10, 2020] – The Canadian Advanced Manufacturing (AM) Supercluster, run by the not-for-profit Next Generation Manufacturing Canada (NGen), is headed to Atlantic Canada thanks to efforts from Springboard Atlantic Inc. (Springboard). This collaboration is designed to increase the awareness of the AM Supercluster among Atlantic Canadian companies and research institutions.
