Resources and requests for COVID-19 research

Early this week, the federal government announced $192 million in new funding for Canadian researchers working to develop and test vaccines against COVID-19. This week’s announcement adds to a number of resources available, both federally and provincially, to boost research initiatives designed to combat the pandemic.

Atlantic Canada’s researchers are among those working to develop countermeasures against the virus. Here’s a round-up of some of the regional and national resources available to support this important research, as well as additional supplies and manufacturing capacity needs that have been identified by the Government of Canada.
