Angela Avery
Business Development Advisor, Research Innovation Office, Memorial University
Angela Avery worked in private industry prior to joining Memorial University in 2014. She joined the Research Innovation Office (RIO) in 2022 after four years with the Faculty of Business Administration, where she was responsible for accreditation management and curriculum development. Angela has an MBA and a Bachelor of Commerce Co-operative (Honours) degree, both from Memorial University. In her role as Business Development Advisor, she actively assists in developing successful research collaborations between Memorial University and industry, commercializing promising inventions developed through university research, and supporting entrepreneurial programming led by RIO.
