Joanne Firth, Industry Liaison Officer, Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC), supports the development of new research partnerships with industry. With strong connections to industry, Joanne helps to communicate the research expertise of NSCC’s 5 Research Scientists (Energy, Engineered Technologies, Data Science, Environment/AgTech, and Geomatics) to help Nova Scotia businesses become more innovative and productive. Joanne has 19 years of post-secondary industry engagement experience, most recently from Dalhousie and before that Saint Mary’s University.
