Acadia Researchers Highlighted In Nshrf Annual Report

Dr. Symonds, Psychology and Dr. Wilson, Biology were recently highlighted in NS Health Research Foundation’s Annual Report. Dr. Symonds’ Early Intervention Program for disadvantaged children was cited by his IWK collaborators as a program that can be used throughout N.S. Dr. Symonds received Springboard IM funding to develop materials for this program, and is working with a variety of institutions and industry partners to expand this initiative. Dr. Wilson’s work on the neuro-protective actions of relaxins was also highlighted. Dr. Wilson received a NSHRF Development/Innovative Award for this work.
Researchers at Dalhousie, StFX, and MSVU were also featured in the NSHRF report.
