Eastern Canada Soil And Water Conservation Centre To Be Managed By CCNB

BATHURST, March 30, 2012 – Effective April 1st, the Eastern Canada Soil and Water Conservation Centre (ECSWCC) will be managed by the Collège communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick (CCNB).
Since its founding in 1991, the ECSWCC has contributed substantially to the agricultural sector in Atlantic Canada, Québec and elsewhere in the country. The expert team from the Centre has proven its capability by answering numerous needs and providing considerable technical support to the agricultural sector in Eastern Canada in such areas as soil and water conservation, technology transfer and partnership projects aimed at promoting sustainable development. The team coordinated the development of Environmental Farm Plan (EFP) for the Atlantic Provinces.
